Providing care and support for elderly, helpless, and orphaned mothers and elderly parents.
Shobhabehen Rasiklal Manekchand Dharival has established "Dikari nu Ghar" - a women's and elderly home. Due to the disintegration of family traditions in the contemporary society, the issues faced by the elderly have come to the forefront. As a result, the institution has started an old age home under the "Dikri nu Ghar" scheme to provide residential care for elderly, helpless, orphaned mothers, and elderly parents. Currently, 36 beneficiaries are availing services in a modern building with a construction area of 30,000 sq. ft.

Sisters from the sewing industry visited the old age home, where they interacted with the elderly residents. Such visits often serve multiple purposes, including offering companionship, sharing skills, and sometimes providing support like handmade garments or other essential items. This type of community engagement helps bridge generations, bringing joy and fostering connections between the women and the elderly, while also offering practical assistance.
A health camp was organized, where medical professionals visited and provided treatment to the elderly. These camps typically focus on offering healthcare services like check-ups, consultations, and necessary treatments on-site, making it easier for senior citizens to access medical care without needing to travel to hospitals. This initiative ensures that the elderly receive timely medical attention, improving their overall health and well-being.
